French Quarter Portrait Session

French Quarter Portrait Session, couple kissing and shadows

FALL IS FINALLY HERE!

Boy, I was really excited to get up this morning and feel how the temperature and humidity had dropped overnight.  These clients were in from California, and I was excited about doing a session with them, but very much hoping for this weather to finally roll in so I could stop having to mop sweat off my forehead every couple of minutes on the shoot.  We had a nice hour and a half or so of strolling around the French Quarter, looking for nice light and colors that worked with their outfit.  I really try to not give each client the same shots in the same locations - of course I have my favorite spots, but I try not to plan too much, so that I am really looking at where the good light is and trying new ideas.  I often shoot the late afternoon, and I enjoyed getting in a morning session and checking out how different the light is.   Click on the images to view in a lightbox!
